Hi All,We have updated the free "Getting started with DB2 Express-C" ebook with information covering up to DB2 version 9.7.2. This is the 3rd printing/update of this popular ebook. The update is minor, so we have not changed the edition of the book which remains at "3rd Edition". Some of the changes/additions made are:
- Table of content links are now working
- Typos fixed
- Updated information about Data Studio
- Cost of DB2 Express server license reduced to $1500USD per server
- Availability of lighter DB2 Express-C images on Windows (44% lighter)
- Added a Download section listing all DB2 Express-C images available for download
- Added information about Spatial extender
- Added a paragraph on auditing improvements with 9.7.2
- Added an ISBN number to the book
We have also updated all the other ebooks fixing minor typos and formatting issues:
